The guitarist and poet Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) had an tremendous influence on the direction of rock music. His four visits to Denmark are probably some of the most important moments in Danish music history. Together with Karsten Laybourn we have emphasised his impact by translating into English all of the Danish newspaper coverage from his visits. Furthermore we have made available some 8 mm footage from two of the concerts. His visits are briefly summarized as follows
